I don't have much mail so I usually just rip it up and spread it around in different trash cans. I have been checking our family members' mail while they are out of town.

This was an entirely different story. In less than four days, the mailbox was stuffed with sensitive information.

Now I better understand how much work it can be to shred your documents. Luckily I don't have to shred their mail, just drop it off when they arrive back in town. It's likely going to take an entire garbage bag.

Shred Day Is Coming Up On Thursday, November 14

You can easily keep your identity safe and secure by attending Angelina Beautiful Clean Shred Day. They put this event on twice a year, in April and November.

Their favorite shredders, Security Shredding, will easily take your documents and render them useless to anyone wanting your sensitive information. Stop by the Lufkin/Angelina Chamber of Commerce parking lot on Thursday, November 14 from 8am until Noon.

You will get your documents shredded free of charge there, but if you would like to donate to Angelina Beautiful Clean it will be graciously accepted.

Do Your Part To Keep Angelina County Beautiful and Clean

Holding on to old or unneeded documents and paperwork could lead to identity theft, and all that paper takes up space. Shredding unnecessary household paperwork could be a very freeing experience.
