15 Restaurants In Angelina County Get Visited By Health Department
When it's time to eat out and your tummy is rumbling, this is a hard time to make an informed decision about where to eat. A little pre-planning is always rewarded by an amazing meal at one of our local Angelina County eating establishments.
Some of the businesses that were inspected serve the general public. Others, like nursing homes and daycares, serve a captive audience.
The Angelina County and Cities Health District work hard to ensure that each one of these places is clean and safe to eat at or work from. Take a look at some recent reviews now, and future you (the one with the loud middle) will thank you.
New Restaurant Inspections Show Big Improvements
This new batch of inspections was carried out from August 13 - September 12, 2024. These reports are all about how clean a restaurant or business is, not a measure of how good the food is.
Though some of the restaurants below deliver some amazing morsels, this is not about that. Even if your favorite restaurant shows up in the list below, the findings this time around were much better.
There were still a few pest droppings here and there, but overall the scores have been trending down. Many of the restaurants got around 10 violations, and none were shut down.
Mom's Diner Gets 21 Violations In Latest Inspection
Though Mom's Diner had 21 violations on their latest inspection, you can tell that they are improving. All of the businesses with violations have some work to do, but nothing to be very concerned about with most.
