Texas is all about mega car dealerships, and in this SNL bit they are having a hard time with the line of cars that is wrapped around Raising Cane's. They even manage to throw a jab at Chick-fil-A in there.

The shouting commercial by a fictional Toyota Dealership just really nailed what it is like in Texas currently. Just like the commercials they are meant to mimic, they jam a lot into this fake spot with host Michael B. Jordan.

Saturday Night Live has always been one of my favorite shows. Over the years I probably didn't fully get all of the nuances and jokes when they have skits that deal with regional humor.

Andrew Dismukes Knows What It Is Like Living In Texas

Now that Andrew Dismukes is a repertory player he is showing up more, and I really feel like I am in on the joke. This Houston and Port Neches, Texas native started on SNL as a writer in 2017, and since then I have noticed more sketches about Texas-centric things.

James Austin Johnson gets some air time without the Trump or Joe Biden makeup for once. He is from Nashville, so he also knows his way around a southern accent.

This was so funny even for a sketch toward the end of the show, when things get a little crazy sometimes on SNL. Raising Cane's actually shared this on their social media. They know good, free advertising when they see it.
