Daiquiri Island To Go Is Taking Over the Empty Nobilitea Spot in Nacogdoches
It wasn't that long ago that Nobilitea was up and operating on University Drive in Nacogdoches. Once it closed down, there was no word on what might move into the building. It's just been sitting vacant with since then. Well, after months of speculating, Nacogdoches residents finally got an answer.
Daiquiri Island to Go Coming Soon to Nacogdoches
If you drive by the former Nobilitea location, you're bound to notice a "Coming Soon" sign hanging in the window. That coming soon sign is for a new Daiquiri Island To Go.
Take a look for yourself:

I had never heard of Daiquiri Island To Go. So, I went to the website and was pretty surprised by what I found out. There are currently 28 locations in operation, all of them in Texas. 26 of them are in and around the Houston area (some within the Houston city limits, some in suburbs of Houston like Katy, Pasadena, Humble and more), one is in Dallas, and one is in Bryan.
Daiquiri Island To Go is Already Hiring and Preparing to Open
They're not wasting any time, either. There are already Now Hiring flyers hanging up, and they have already applied for their permit to sell alcoholic beverages at the location. I haven't found any specific dates on when Daiquiri Island To Go will officially open their doors in Nacogdoches, but I'm keeping an eye on it.
