The Old Dolli’s Diner is Becoming the New N’AXE EATS

It's been over eight months since Dolli's Diner shut its doors for good. The post that was written about it closing was dated December 23, 2025. They closed completely on January 4, 2026. After months of waiting and wondering, we now have an answer about what's going to take its place on the brick streets.

N'AXE EATS is Moving into the Old Dolli's Diner Location

The other day as I was scrolling through Facebook, a post came across my feed about a new restaurant coming soon to Nacogdoches called N'AXE EATS. This was news to me, and since I like to know about new businesses coming into Deep East Texas, I was intrigued. When I found the N'AXE EATS Facebook page and started scrolling through it, I was surprised to see a reel that said, "Coming Soon to Nacogdoches" and featured a familiar looking building.

Yes, that is the Old Dolli's Diner location on the square in downtown Nacogdoches. It's being remodeled and will open up as N'AXE EATS at some point in the near future.

According to their Facebook page, the menu will include "custom salads, custom grilled cheese sandwiches, soups made from scratch and rotated weekly, cinnamon rolls and more." They even included a few pictures of some of their items, if you wanted to get an idea of what they'll be serving.

As of right now, there's no specific date for when N'AXE EATS plans to be open, but they have started the hiring process, so it can't be too terribly far off.
