Every year, people make all kinds of New Year's resolutions. Things like losing weight, going to the gym, reading more books, less time spent on social media, and more tend to lead these goals.

Some people can keep up with these resolutions all year long. Some people can keep them up for a time, and then they go by the wayside. Some people can't make it a week. And then some people make the resolution, they do it the first day like they said they would, then it all goes away.

So here we are, day two of 2026. How are your resolutions going? Did you go to the gym for a second day in a row? Hey, that would be a win for me. That would be two days more than I usually go!

Some of you might be sitting there asking, "Well, what resolutions did you make for 2026, Mark?" Well, keep on asking. The answer is that I didn't make any. I don't have anything against them, but after a few years of not being able to keep them, I quit making them. Now, that's no judgement on any of you that do make New Year's resolutions. In fact, if you did set those daily/weekly/monthly goals, I truly hope that you keep them.
