ICYMI: Optimum Nacogdoches Location is Going Away

One of the largest internet and cable providers in Nacogdoches is Optimum. That's not an endorsement, or a dig, that's just how it is. Before Optimum took over it was the same story with Altice, and with Suddenlink before that.

With all that being said, Optimum will still be a provider in Nacogdoches. However, next month, there will not be a retail location in Nacogdoches.

Optimum Will Not Have a Nacogdoches Location After March 13th

According to the Optimum website, the Nacogdoches locations is moving to 4505 S Medford Drive in Lufkin. That's in the Southloop Crossing shopping center between Pop Shelf and Sally Beauty Supply. It's been an Optimum store for a while now, but now they're adding the Nacogdoches store to it.

This means that customers will not be able to go pay bills, drop off equipment, or any of the other options that were previously offered there. I assume that all of those things can still be done at the Lufkin location, but don't quote me on that.

How to Contact Optimum After March 13th

After March 13th, even though Nacogdoches customers won't be able to go in-person to the Optimum location, they will still be able to contact them via chat, email or phone, just like they've been able to do in the past. Customers will still have the option to pay bills online, so that part of the process shouldn't change too much either.

In my opinion, this change shouldn't cause too many issues. However, if you're one of those people that prefers to do everything in-person...Get ready, because this is going to hit you guys pretty hard.
