Stephen F. Austin Football Brings Themed Home Games To Homer Bryce Stadium

We are just around the corner from SFA football once again. The first game of the season will be against McNeese on Saturday, August 29th in Lake Charles. And just like we posted in an article from about four months ago, the first game in Nacogdoches will take place on Saturday, September 5th against East Texas A&M. However, there has been an update on home football games.

SFA Announces Home Game Themes

Every home football game at Homer Bryce Stadium this year - there are six of them, by the way - has its own unique theme. A few of them are ones that everyone is familiar with, and they show up year after year. I'm talking about Homecoming, Senior Day, etc.

However, this year there are a few new ones that I don't remember seeing in the past. If they've had them before, I apologize, I just don't remember them - Please don't send me that email about how disappointed you are that I don't remember ALL the things. A couple of those are "East Texas Tough Night" and "Youth Sports Day", among some others.

As you can see, there are different themes for just about everybody in your family. Even if the only one that resonates with you is the Purple Out Day, that's something for all the SFA fans out there.
