It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Texas. Okay, maybe we have a ways to go but Hobby Lobby is ready and so are we.

If you'd like to start planning some holiday family fun, we highly suggest taking a ride on The Polar Express. You know, just like from the movie of the same name.

Where do I hop aboard The Polar Express Train Ride in Texas?

The Polar Express Train Ride will be running on the Texas State Railroad out of Palestine from November 15 through December 28, 2024.

The captivating story comes to life the minute the train departs from the Palestine Depot for its journey to the North Pole. Of course, the adventure is always more fun when families and friends show up in their pajamas. (It's kind of a tradition to ride The Polar Express that way.)

The ride is enveloped by the motion picture soundtrack as passengers get to relive the magic of the tale as they are whisked away on The Polar Express Train Ride. Once onboard, chefs serve hot chocolate and cookies as they recite the classic children's book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg.

Make sure to bring your child's copy of the book with them on the ride, or you can purchase a book along with your tickets.

Once at the North Pole, Santa and his elves greet passengers and then board the train. Ole St. Nick gives everyone the first gift of Christmas -- a silver sleigh bell that only believers can hear ringing.
