Fans of Jessi Combs' work on television and her harrowing attempts to break land speed records in remote parts of the world will have a few days to pay respects during a temporary museum exhibit that will feature artifacts from the Mythbusters star's life and career.

The Jessi Combs: Life at Full Speed exhibit will open at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles on Sunday (Sept. 22) and wrap four days later on Sept. 25.

The 39-year-old's family and friends helped curate the exhibit, which will feature items like her motorcycles, notebooks, Chip Foose drawings from Overhaulin' and racing helmets (per People). Combs died in a crash on Aug. 27 in Oregon.

Jessie Combs Dies Chasing a New Record

The exhibit is free, but donations to the Jessi Combs Foundation can be made at the Petersen Automotive Museum website. The Foundation is dedicated to educating, inspiring and empowering the next generation of female trailblazers. Combs' boyfriend Terry Madden says the foundation will motivate young women who looked up to Jessi.

His Instagram page has been the place to remember her life and legacy. Since Combs' death he's shared photo after photo of her life, complete with stories and first-person memories of the woman she was. He's also integral to getting the new museum exhibit installed in time, which is fun to watch on his Instagram Stories.

In addition to her racing fame, Combs also hosted Discovery's MythBusters from 2009-2010 while Kari Byron was on maternity leave. Her other TV credits included Velocity TV's Overhaulin', Spike TV’s Xtreme 4×4, and a guest appearance on Jay Leno's Garage. She also hosted All Girls Garage.
