Johnny Manziel Suspended for First Half of Season Opener

According to a report at Texags.com, embattled Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel will be forced to sit out the first half of Texas A&M's upcoming season opener against Rice. 

This half-game suspension will bring to a close the investigation and any subsequent action against Manziel for the whirlwind of allegations brought against him for accepting money for signatures.

Rice is a 4 touchdown underdog for the game.
