Kurth Memorial Library Closing Early Tuesday Due To Flu

This time of year the flu is hitting hard. Even if you got the flu shot, you have to take extra precautions when out in public. Nothing is more public than a public library, and with staff touching books and checking out books to patrons, it's hard to avoid.he Kurth Memorial Library in Lufkin has announced they are going to close early Tuesday January 28th at 6pm. They will reopen regular hours tomorrow.

All library programming including Baby Lap-sit and Preschool Story Time are cancelled for this week. We hope that the staff of the Library that has been affected gets better soon.
