Legendary Moe Bandy to Perform in Lufkin Thursday Evening

"Who was once, a bull-hookin' son of a gun..."

Upon hearing those words, any country music traditionalist should immediately be able to tell you the title of the song that goes with that opening lyric.  In 1975, 'Bandy the Rodeo Clown', written by Lefty Frizzell and Whitey Shafer, launched the career of a former rodeo rider turned country singer.

Moe Bandy is that legendary singer, and he is coming to perform at the Pitser Garrison Civic Center Thursday, November 11.  The show gets underway at 7 pm and is produced by Paragon Sound & Light in Lufkin.  Tickets are available at Paragon which is located inside Sound Techs on South First Street in Lufkin, or they're available online at Eventbrite.
