Lufkin, Texas Favorite To Attend The Sweets And Snacks Expo

Lufkin's own Atkinson Candy Company is attending the NAC (National Confectioners Association) Sweets and Snacks Expo in Chicago, Illinois. The exposition is celebrating its 25th year and centers around innovation.

They will be there from May 23rd - 26th in booth 11002 at the 2022 event. This is the next to last time the event will be in Chicago. They are going to be rotating between Las Vegas and Indianapolis for ten years starting with the 2024 event.

I am so proud that we have a local candy company going to the premier event for the confection and snack industry. Hundreds of the world’s leading candy makers will be there debuting new products.

The Atkinson Candy Company is also celebrating a milestone here in Deep East Texas this year. 90 years of sticking to family traditions and classic candy.

This fresh, quality candy started way back in 1932 in Lufkin, Texas. After 90 years they have recently updated their recipes with simple ingredients and fun packaging.
