Lufkin, Texas Theater Revives America's Horror Poet For Halloween

Take a glimpse into the mind of America's favorite macabre poet and tortured genius, Edgar Allan Poe, with a local Lufkin Theater group. The Green Room Theater's production of Nevermore: A Night In The Mind Of A Madman is not to be missed.

This is the third annual production of this play. It has been well received during the Halloween season in the past and is something that many local theatergoers look forward to.

Nevermore: A Night In The Mind Of A Madman Comes To Lufkin, Texas

Even if you have seen the play before, there will be set and stage changes. There will also be some swapping around of actors that will make this year different.

This is according to the theatrical production company Disappearing Pants Productions, the ones that are putting on this spectacle. They would like to invite everyone to see this play based on the work of one of our nation's most influential and important writers.

Lufkin Theater Revives America's Horror Poet For Halloween Show

The Green Room Theatre is host to Disappearing Pants Productions, a theatrical production company started over 10 years ago by Angelina county locals. They have all had professional and educational experiences elsewhere and decided to come back to Lufkin to showcase their growth and bring their style back to their roots in this community. It is their goal to introduce original works by local artists, and exciting spins on the classics. The following pictures were from the 2021 production of Nevermore: A Night In The Mind Of A Madman.
