Luke Bryan Admits He Sings ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ in the Shower
Luke Bryan doesn't sing "Knockin' Boots" or "Play It Again" while he gets his suds on in the shower. Instead, he belts "The Star Spangled Spanner," because as Bryan revealed during a TV piece with Good Morning America, "You can never have enough practice singing 'The Star Spangled Banner.'"
The quote stems from a hilarious GMA one-on-one interview that Bryan did with Blake Shelton in promotion of Shelton's new venue the Doghouse — an extension of Shelton's popular restaurant Ole Red, in his hometown of Tishomingo, Okla.
In the video, Shelton and Bryan sip on what Bryan calls "the most calorie-concentrated Bloody Mary" and then chows down on some tacos from the venue. The two both performed at the new concert venue in May for the grand opening.

“It’s unreal to me that a spot like the Doghouse exists in Tishomingo,” Shelton says in a release. “Growing up, if I wasn’t outdoors hunting or fishing, I was looking for a stage to play music. The Doghouse is going to be the best place to see all the great talent that exists in this part of the country. I’m excited to get the party started with my friend Luke and support a cause that’s so close to my heart.”
Shelton's Ole Red is now operating in three cities: Tishomingo, Okla., Nashville, and Gatlinburg, Tenn, with an Orlando location set to open in 2020. One of the most intriguing venues during CMA Fest, Ole Red in Nashville recently acted as this year's Spotify House, hosting more than 50 acts across the event including Brantley Gilbert, Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town, Morgan Wallen and more.
