Miranda Lambert won't stage bomb her opening acts, and they may not want to start a prank war with her. The singer says she's not a fan. During an interview prior to the 2017 Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter, N.Y., on Saturday (June 10) Lambert told ToC she hates pranks.

"Honestly, end of tour pranks are always fun but like backstage I don’t like when they interfere with the show, because the crowd’s like, 'We don’t know it’s an inside joke,'" Lambert says, laughing as she adds, "Plus I just have a bad sense of humor I guess."

Nope, Miranda Lambert Ain't Gonna Take Your Bull!

The singer also talked about when she flips the switch from laid-back Ran to the ferocious woman who takes the stage each night, and about her recent MuttNation march through Nashville. She no longer needs someone else to limit the number of dogs she takes home.

"I’ve put myself on restriction because I have seven dogs and four rescue kitties," she says. "I’m at my limit right now."

The "Tin Man" singer's set capped a big night at the fifth annual ToC Fest at Hunter Mountain. Tyler Farr, Joe Nichols and Cody Johnson were among the opening acts. Jason Aldean headlined on Friday night, while Sam Hunt is the Sunday night (June 11) headliner.

This summer Lambert is playing select festivals across the country. This was the first time she played the Taste of Country Music Festival.
