Nearly 5 Inches of Rain Possible Across East Texas

Tuesday morning brought heavy downpours across parts of East Texas.  Huntington and Crockett each received about an inch and a half of rain.  If the forecast is correct, we could be in for a lot more. 

Chances of showers and thunderstorms for the Pineywoods will continue through the weekend, however, the best chance of heavy rain will come on Thursday and Thursday night.  4-5 inches of rain could accumulate in some areas between now and Sunday.  Severe storms on Thursday are also a possibility.
