Rachel Wammack Marries Boyfriend Noah Purcell
"Damage" singer Rachel Wammack exchanged vows with her boyfriend of nearly two and a half years, Noah Purcell, on Saturday, according to a report from People.
The pair were married at Cypress Lakes Country Club in Wammack's hometown of Muscle Shoals, Ala. "We knew we wanted to do it in my hometown, Muscle Shoals, because Noah’s family is spread out over Montana, Idaho and Missouri, and so we didn’t want to have to ask both of our families to travel to Nashville,” the bride noted.
Wammack, 25, wore a custom-designed Justin Alexander dress, the concept of which the designer uniquely put together from two separate dresses, for the ceremony with Purcell, 21. The colors of the wedding were champagne, blush, and navy. The couple were married by Purcell's father. The bride enlisted her friend, whom she's known since age 2, as matron of honor; while the groom's brother took on best man duties.
The couple, who met while working together at a Nashville hotel bistro, revealed they were engaged in March of this year. Photos of the two from as far back as May 2017 can be found on Purcell's Instagram page. He too is a musician, hailing from Idaho, and was once in a Christian music band called Refuge out of Trevecca Nazarene University.
Wammack is signed to Sony Music Nashville. She released her debut single "Damage" in 2018. Her latest song is "Enough," which appears on Wammack's self-titled EP, which is available now.
