Cable television is becoming a thing of the past as a recent study shows more individuals are cutting the cable TV cord in huge numbers.

According to Fortune, nearly 60 percent of cable users have dropped the cable and big bills that come along with it, as many move to cheaper, internet based services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.

Waterstone Management Group conducted a survey and also found another 29 percent of cable users are on the verge of leaving, while 12 percent are more content with the services.

Now while streaming is still a lot cheaper than cable, Netflix already announced they were increasing their subscription prices and also crack down on illegal sharing of accounts after a recent report revealed that such account sharing will cost the industry almost $10 billion dollars in lost revenue over the next couple of years.

If you still have cable TV, do you plan to drop it for streaming services or are you happy keeping it and why?
