A Silver Alert has been issued for a 72-year-old Elkhart, Texas man who has been missing since Tuesday, November 22nd at 8 am. Silver Alerts are a nationwide messaging system that alerts the public whenever senior citizens, especially those with cognitive impairments, have gone missing.

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Charles Milford, diagnosed with a cognitive impairment. He is described as a 72-year-old white male. He stands five feet, 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. Milford has black hair and brown eyes, he wears a black toupee with gray hair showing from underneath the toupee. He was last seen wearing a gray button-down shirt with blue jeans.

The senior citizen has now been missing for over 24 hours. He was last seen at 8:00 AM, on November 22 at the 7200 Block of Highway 294 in Elkhart, Texas in Anderson County.  This location is just east of Slocum, Texas.

Milford may be driving a white 2015 Chevrolet Colorado with Texas License Plate PRT6582.

Law enforcement officials believe this senior citizen’s disappearance poses a credible threat to their own health and safety. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office is requesting that persons especially in or near Anderson, Houston, and Cherokee Counties be observant as they attempt to locate Milford and bring him home safely.
