Six Graduates Receive Scholarship Money in Senior Salute Contest
Positive news. How about some positive news for a change?
Last week, we announced the winners of the $1,000 scholarships in our KICKS 105 Senior Salutes. Monday and Tuesday, representatives from KICKS, Kelly's Truck Parts, and McWilliams & Son Heating and AC made some trips to award the scholarship money.
From Lufkin High School, Carter Lair will be attending UTI in Spring, Texas to pursue a career as a diesel mechanic.
From Diboll High School, Abraham Contreras will be going to East Texas Baptist University in Marshall to become a minister.
From Hudson High School, Chadricka Price has her sights set on Tyler Junior College to study child development.
From Livingston High School, Taylor Ross will be attending Baylor University in Waco, pursuing a degree in the medical field.
From Central High School, Presley Slatter will be heading to Angelina College to study in their sonography program.
From Nacogdoches High School, Mallory Hodge will be studying early childhood education at Angelina College and then possibly transferring to SFA.
