Panola County has a history of producing great country singers...Jim Reeves and Linda Davis just to name a few. Of course, we need to add Carthage native Brandon Rhyder to that list. And Brandon's coming back home to East Texas.
It's kind of ironic that Willie Nelson will be performing in Lufkin tonight. The first time that I ever heard of Pat Green was when he opened a show for Willie at the Nacogdoches Expo Center...I didn't make that show.
However, I did make it to his next show in East Texas, at Jitterbugs (remember that club?), and I've been a huge fan ever since.
