Brandon Rhyder

On Sunday, March 11th Brandon Rhyder was hospitalized with an infection. After he spent five days in the hospital, last Friday he was released with the cause of his illness still a mystery.

Brandon Rhyder has had a long career, but he's never before felt the time was right for a self-titled album -- until now.

A Fall full of great shows continues tonight at Banita Creek Hall in Nacogdoches.  Panola County native Brandon Rhyder returns to the Pineywoods.

Panola County  has a history of producing great country singers...Jim Reeves and Linda Davis just to name a few.  Of course, we need to add Carthage native Brandon Rhyder to that list.  And Brandon's coming back home to East Texas.

It's kind of ironic that Willie Nelson will be performing in Lufkin tonight.  The first time that I ever heard of Pat Green was when he opened a show for Willie at the Nacogdoches Expo Center...I didn't make that show. However, I did make it to his next show in East Texas, at Jitterbugs (remember that club?), and I've been a huge fan ever since.

Texas Music artist Brandon Rhyder took some time out of his schedule this morning to give Danny Merrell and Sean Ericson a call on KICKS 105 to talk about his upcoming show tomorrow night at Banita Creek Hall in Nacogdoches. He also talked about World Series baseball strategy, an outstanding football prospect, wildfire relief, and the major sporting event at which he'll be performing the National

One of the greatest things about working in Country Radio is that you get to meet so many talented people...and in many cases their talent is matched by their generosity and solid values. Case in point, Josh Abbott and Brandon Rhyder have teamed up to help wildfire victims across the state of Texas.

3 days and over 25 bands...the party gets kicked off tomorrow at Durango's Canyon located in between Mt. Enterprise and Henderson just off Highway 259. It's the Texas Cram Jam and it features Craig Morgan, Kevin Fowler, Jack Ingram, Roger Creager, Brandon Rhyder, the Casey Donahew Band and many others over the weekend.  Take a look at the full line-up after the bump.

The vast majority of songs that Brandon Rhyder has released on his CDs are original works.  However, a few months ago, Brandon slipped on the headphones and relaxed while listening to one of his favorites - Don Williams. When "Lord I Hope This Day Is Good" came on, Brandon decided that he wanted to do a cover version of that song...and so he did.  And now, it's his latest single.   Read
