Lufkin just got a little less sweet over the weekend.

When you think of jelly beans maybe you think of fruity flavors like grape and strawberry. Not in Texas!  Our favorite is unusual, and a little buttery.  Enter your favorite in the poll if you don't agree!

Halloween ain't cheap.  Add up the costumes, the candy, and the decorations, and most of us are spending about $80 on the holiday.  And then add the alcohol at the adult costume party and, well, that could double.

There is meaning behind a teal-colored pumpkin if you see one on a porch this Halloween.  It's a signal about what that home will be passing out to trick-or-treaters, and if your kids are like mine you'll definitely want this heads up!

One Texas city is in the top 10 in the country when it comes to passing out the most candy on Halloween.  We know this from an app that's basically a private social network, and alerts neighbors that the light will be on and you'll be passing out the Starbursts this year. But what about those full-sized Snickers bars?

One of the prerequisites for being a radio personality is that you must be willing to do dumb things even when no one double dog dares you.  Steve Rixx, Sean Ericson, and me (Danny Merrell) decided that eating the worst Halloween candy mixture would be a neat thing to do.

Eating candy on Halloween is about as American as the obesity it may lead to. If you're looking forward to the sugar rush, then this may be a wake-up call you don't want to have.
