They opened up last week for a soft opening, and the reviews are already pouring in.

The craft brewery scene has exploded everywhere, including some great spots in East Texas. Now, Texas is home to best spot in the world for craft beer.

Some say the craft beer industry caters to men, and that the industry should work on attracting a more diverse fan base.  Does it really matter?  We wonder what East Texas craft brewers think.

Maybe you haven't hopped on board the gluten-free bandwagon yet, but if you love beer this might make you change your tune.  We can find cereal, crackers, and chicken nuggets that are gluten-free now, and that little ingredient is getting the ax from beer in Texas too.  But how does it taste?

Big Thicket Brewery is officially open in downtown Lufkin. I've been anxiously awaiting this opening since returning to Lufkin in April of 2013. I've known brewer/co-owner, Corey Crawford since high school MANY years ago. He and his crew welcomed everyone with open arms and we all had a great time sampling tasty beverages.
