City of Lufkin Police, Fire and Animal Control combined forces to rescue a German Shepherd that was trapped under a pick up truck

Watch a Houston couple save a drowning dog in more ways than one.

The death count continues to rise from the landslide that took place in the mountains north of Seattle on Saturday.  According to the recent reports, 16 are confirmed dead and up to 90 remain missing.

This is such a telling video of just how special firefighters are and how they value all life. Although, the dogs' owner seems a bit brash at times, this video will still touch your heart.
