East Texas snow

Check out the pictures of the East Texas Winter Wonderland

It was the second winter storm to hit East Texas in less than a week.  Advisories were issued, warnings were posted, and schools were closed and delayed as East Texans braced for 'Snowmageddon 2'.

Will we be seeing more pictures like this Tuesday? Winter weather appears to be a certainty across the Pineywoods as a strong Arctic blast is moving across East Texas today bringing strong winds and colder temperatures.  Then, the precipitation will start early Tuesday morning.

It's not a very common occurrence for the Pineywoods to get a blanket of snow during the Winter.  It's downright wacky if it happens twice within 7 days.  But, forecasters are indicating it's a possibility.
