mutton bustin'

Mutton Busters Announced
Get ready come the mutton busters.
48 young cowboys and cowgirls will be hanging on for points (and dear life) for the chance to be crowned the nightly championship rider at the Angelina Benefit Rodeo.
Mutton Bustin' Time
The Angelina Benefit Rodeo is coming up April 20th through 23rd at the George H Henderson, Jr. Expo Center in Lufkin.  In addition to the best cowboys and cowgirls competing for cash, 48 youngsters will get the chance to claim their few minutes of fame.
Mutton Bustin' in Nac
This past Thursday through Saturday, 30 young cowboys and cowgirls from across East Texas came to the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show to try their hand at mutton bustin'.
Riders Wanted
The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show is coming March 24th-26th to the Nacogdoches Expo and Civic Center. Cowboys and cowgirls will be riding...and that's before the rodeo even starts.
Big Ride wins Championship
We couldn't have written the script any better.  It was the final night of the Angelina Benefit Rodeo and we were down to our last rider of the mutton bustin' competition.
Tops for Friday
It was a tight race for night 3 of mutton bustin' at the Anglina Benefit Rodeo, but Jaycee Dykes of Huntington held on to take a one point win with a score of 89 points.
On a Rowe
Night number two of the Angelina Benefit Rodeo produced some more outstanding rides in the KICKS 105/Cavenders Mutton Bustin' Championships.  There were a total of 3 80+ point rides and the same number of 90+ point rides.
91 point ride
Two 90 point rides highlighted night number one of the Mutton Bustin' Championships Wednesday night at the Angelina Benefit Rodeo, but when the dust settled and the fleece cleared, 7 year old Emma Heckendorn of Hudson took home the trophy with a ride of 91 points.
Mutton Busters Wanted
The Angelina Benefit Rodeo gets underway this Wednesday and continues through Saturday at the George H Henderson, Jr. Expo Center in Lufkin.  One of the highlights each night is the mutton bustin' championships.
Winning 'Cash'
You couldn't have scripted the final night of mutton bustin' at the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show any better.  On a night that saw the best scores of the 3 nights of riding, Kaleb Eddings of Nacogdoches was holding on to the lead with a score of 82 points with one rider to go.
