The Nacogdoches Police Department is reporting the arrest of 7 men in connection to the July 30 homicide. All 7 have been charged with capital murder.

So far in 2024, they have booked 1,013 men and 351 women into the jail.

Shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday, emergency personnel responded to a possible drowning at Lake Nacogdoches.

The charges range from assault of a pregnant person to indecency with a child through sexual contact.

Two of the inmates have been arrested on charges that were sexual.

He is currently wanted on six warrants in the Nacogdoches area.

Charges include drugs, theft, assaulting a police officer, and sexual assault of a child this week.
