10 East Texas cowboys and cowgirls came out to night number one of the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show to try their hand at mutton busting. The 3-7 year olds did their best to hang on for dear life while perched on the back of a sheep.

Night number one of the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show gets underway tonight at the Nacogdoches Expo and Civic Center.  Many of the bulls and broncs, as well as the cowboys and cowgirls that were recently at the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas will be on hand for this three night event.

Get ready for some mutton bustin' at the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show!   The riding will start at 7 each night at the Expo Center.

The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show is coming March 27th-29th at the Nacogdoches Expo and Convention Center.  One of the big draws for the annual event is the KICKS 105 Mutton Bustin'.

This past Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 30 East Texas youngsters between the ages of 3-7 tried their hand at mutton bustin' at the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show.  And, as is usually the case, this event is one of the best crowd-pleasers of the night.

The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show gets kicked off Thursday night and continues through Saturday at the Nacogdoches Expo Center.  Each night at 7, the rodeo will kick off with the KICKS 105 mutton bustin' competition sponsored by Baskin's. Here's the line up of riders for each night.
