UPDATED - 3/4. 5:30 am Significant freezing rain has been falling mainly south of the Lufkin and Nacogdoches are overnight.  A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Polk, San Jacinto, and Walker counties.  A Winter Weather Advisory continues in effect through the morning for Angelina and Nacogdoches counties.  Icing on roadways has been reported throughout Polk county and southwestern Trinity c

Wintry precipitation is moving into East Texas again, and we're in for more icy roads.  A Winter Storm Warning is in effect overnight for Sabine, San Augustine, and Shelby counties.  A Winter Weather Advisory continues for Angelina, Nacogdoches, and many surrounding counties.

The National Weather Service has upgraded the Winter Weather Advisory for some portions of the Pineywoods to a Winter Storm Warning.  Counties included are Shelby, Sabine, San Augustine, and Panola.

East Texas is about to have another round of cold temperatures and icy conditions. We will be keeping a close eye on the system as it makes it’s way through our listening area, and pass along any and all delays and closures of schools, businesses, or other organizations...

The wintry precipitation has pretty much left Deep East Texas, but the lingering snow/ice on the ground and roadways could make for slick conditions Wednesday morning, especially with a low expected in the teens.  A few schools will be opening late or be closed as a result.
