softball playoffs

This is the time of the year that graduations, proms, and the impending Summer vacation are the most important things on the minds of high schoolers. Add one more thing for the softball teams from Hudson, Garrison, and Henderson.

After four playoff games of lopsided scores, the Lady Hornets found themselves in unfamiliar territory this evening against Huffman Hargrave.  In fact, it looked as if Hudson would be needing to play a third and deciding game to see who would earn the right to advance to the next round. However, these gals from Hudson don't know the meaning of the word 'quit'.

It's one of the biggest rivalries in East Texas...the Hornets and the Bulldogs. And Friday night, it's on.

What a game in Madisonville last night! I was doing the play by play as the Huntington Devilettes took on the Waco Robinson Rockets in game 1 in their best of 3 series.
