According to a press release from Angelina College, Kaylee “KK” Parker signed a letter of intent to join the Lady ‘Runners beginning in the fall of 2016.

(from AC Press Release) On Wednesday, the Lady Roadrunners softball team re-wrote the Angelina College record book.  The program’s team record for home runs in a season lasted all of one year.

Thursday morning at 9, the Hudson Lady Hornets will be playing the West Lady Trojans in Austin for the right to advance to the 3a state championship game. This morning, a 'send-off' parade was held for the team.

We had some champions stop by the Merrell in the Morning show today. The Rampage softball team, who just happen to be the 14 and under state champions paid us a visit today and told us about their experiences in trying to bring home the world series title.

The East Texas Rampage Girls 14 and under softball team are the undefeated state champions of Texas and are now carrying the battle to the world series (USFA) in Florida. The Rampage actually started playing in Florida on Monday, but the double elimination bracket play got underway Wednesday.

The SFA Softball Program is offering two summer camps in Nacogdoches in June. The Junior Jacks Camp is on June 15th (sign-up deadline is June 13th) and the  Jacks Summer Camp will be June 20-22, though sign-ups will end June 15 (or until the camp is filled).

The SFA Ladyjacks came into yesterday's game against the Texas Lady Longhorns with just 9 wins in 37 games. Texas, ranked #3 in the country, had a record of 34-3, and had an 18 game winning streak, plus had not lost at home this season.
