Shania Twain stalker John Palumbo is now a free man and will remain free as long as he doesn’t come within a half kilometer of the famous singer. The Toronto Sun reports that Palumbo was sentenced to time served and placed on three years probation after a long trial which featured many sensational outbursts.

The case against alleged Shania Twain stalker Giovanni (John) Palumbo is in its third month, with testimony expected on Tuesday, Nov. 15 to decide if the defendant is mentally fit to continue. Psychiatrist Dr. Helen Ward will testify about her recent court-mandated evaluation of Palumbo.

Shania Twain‘s accused stalker had another outburst in court today, October 19, screaming “shame!” at the judge that denied his request for freedom.
