Day 19 of the "Selfie Of The Day" project with me (Steve Rixx). I'm not giving up! Today I'm feeling the Christmas spirit finally. I know it's only a week away, but I've been busy. I adorned my head with the traditional garb and snapped this appropriate shot. See how "Christmassy" I look?!

Hats are all over this radio station. Ball caps, santa hats, fuzzy hats, and of course cowboy hats. When you work at a country music station inevitably cowboy hats appear in various places, and then end up on your head. They never, EVER end up on my head though. I DO NOT wear cowboy hats. It was just a few days ago that it was almost 80 degrees outside, and I noticed how uncomfortable it was here in the studio. Hot! So I went to the thermostat to kick down the AC to cool things off for us. It was then that I discovered the AC was not working. I told the appropriate person to get it repaired. Today is a great day! I got a brand new box of razors in the mail, and decided to use one this morning. It's always nice to get a clean shave. I use those 4 blade jobs too. You know the ones that give you the ultimate closeness. The end result is a shave that's as smooth as a baby's butt. Check it out.

Oh Monday morning you came way too early today. I'm still exhausted from the weekend. Just so you're on the same page with me, I do not sleep well often. Most nights I toss and turn and don't get to sleep much. I run on fumes all day, but I'm used to it I suppose. Last night though I was kicking sleeps butt! Tis the season to be jolly! Fa-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra! It's all Christmassy around the radio station. The tree is flocked, and the decorations are on it, with presents underneath. Jingle bells adorn the doors, and the mistletoe is going up soon as well. Who wants a little smooch? Everyone is happy, including me.

Really?! Another cloudy day! I have had it with the sad cloudy days around here. It's too quiet around here today on top of that. This is a dang radio station! There should be lots of noise, and music playing, and people talking and stuff right? I almost fell asleep earlier, and that's when I realized that it's all cloudy. Sometimes I reminisce. Think back on the interesting things that have happened to me over the course of these 46 years. Some very exciting, some not so much. Some sad, heartbreaking, lonely times. The sun came out today! It's been almost a week since we've seen the golden orb of life, light, and warmth. My mood has been no bueno because of that. I've wanted to nap every day this week. Why yes that is a bottle opener on my hat. I answer that question more than you'll ever know! Everywhere I go. Grocery store, department store, restaurant, club, everywhere. People notice it and ask me about it. I have seen others like it, but it seems to me that mine is the best one. Imaginary pub advertisement, and bottle opener, worn a lot! Check it out!

I love getting a fresh haircut! Unfortunately my "hair cutting girl" has been out for the past 6 weeks after having emergency surgery. As you can imagine my hair went quite crazy. My hats won't fit, and I looked like a homeless person or some kind of emo kid at the very least. Today's "Selfie Of The Day" depicts my stylish new cut. Jealous??
