Steve Wariner

He's one of my all-time favorites. Steve Wariner is coming to Banita Creek Hall in Nacogdoches this Saturday night.

Keith Whitley's brief mainstream country music career lasted only about 5 years and his first certified Gold record didn't come until 1989 after his passing.

Singer, Songwriter and amazing guitarist Steve Wariner received one of the greatest honors of his career on this day in 1996.  "Some Fools Never Learn", one of our favorites here at Kicks 105.

2011 - Jo Dee Messina sings the national anthem before a Nashville Predators playoff game at Bridgestone Arena. Carrie Underwood sings "Cowboy Casanova" during intermission with Vince Gill on guitar. The visiting Anaheim Ducks win, 6-3.   2008 - Hank Williams, Steve Wariner and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band are added to the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville, along with jazz musician Kirk

2010 - Merle Haggard, Oprah Winfrey and Paul McCartney are recognized during the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C. President Barack Obama is on hand for the ceremony.

2008 - A "CMT Crossroads" episode featuring Trace Adkins and 38 Special debuts on TV.
