Third Annual Angelina County Airfest Set for October 7th
The premier aviation event in East Texas is ready to roll through the Angelina County Airport on Saturday, October 7th.
Take a look at the last year's compilation video and you can see why this event has become so popular in such a short period of time.
Some of the greatest aerobatic acts on the planet will be in the Pineywoods featuring a full day of exciting airplane stunts, skydivers, static display aircraft, and much more. The Airfest will feature Randy Ball (Mig 17), Jeremy Holt (Pitts Pegasus), Justin Lewis (MicroJet), Mike Galloway (Extra 300), Kevin Moore (L19 Bird Dog), and headline acts Kyle Franklin Comedy and Dracula Biplane. with more will be added. Get up close, meet the pilots and take pictures.
Ticket prices are as follows:
- Ages 12 and up: $15 each
- Ages 6-11: $10 each
- Seniors (over age 65): $8 each
- Military with proper I.D.: $8 each
- Ages 5 and under are FREE
Gates at the airport located on Highway 59 between Lufkin and Diboll will open at 9 a.m.
The Angelina County Airfest is produced by the Lufkin Marine Corps League and is a benefit for the Marine Toys for Tots campaign to purchase toys for the less fortunate children in our community during the Christmas season.
