Westboro Church Announces Plans To Picket Paterno’s Funeral

Why?

I ask myself this question every time the Westboro Church decides to picket the funerals of people making news.  Now, they have decided to be on hand holding signs of contempt at Joe Paterno's funeral. 

"Penn State Penn rape rings in Joe Paterno's ears in hell" is just one of the quotes taken from the church's tweet from earlier in the day.

I realize this kind of display, from a certain distance, is protected under our constitution...but it still makes me sick!
