Do you feel like when everyone assumes you should have bad luck? You don't? Would it be wise to head over to Shreveport and try your luck at the Riverboat for the day, or would that be a superstitious no-no?

Are you a superstitious person, or perhaps just a little "stitious," as 'The Office's" Michael Scott intellectually proclaims?

Or will you buy into the superstition, and do things out of the ordinary? Will you forgo your morning jog, call in sick to work, or perhaps save a few dollars by not buying your daily lottery ticket?

In an alternate universe, what if Friday the 13th, is the one day out of the year your luck turns around.

Any way you look at it, we've come up with a small list of the places where you can hide, and not push your luck.

    Stay Home

    Don't get the mail.

Nothing beats staying home. Stay in bed and marathon some new show on Netflix.

Although, with the curse of the 13th, we can't guarantee your internet will be working.

Statistically most accidents that send you to the ER, happen in the home.  Are you really ever safe anywhere?

    Visit Your Parents

    Or someone close.

It's already a hassle to see them, and they did say they wanted you to come over for the holidays, after all.

Okay, Friday the 13th isn't exactly a holiday, but you might as well be with people that understand your particular level of crazy superstition.

If anything bad happens on your way there, I'm sure they wouldn't mind whipping up a nice bowl of soup to comfort you.

Just don't burn your lip and blame the day.

    Escape Nac

    Don't throw away the key

We went there, and we couldn't get out, so perhaps nothing bad could get in.  With all those locks and puzzles I think you would be pretty safe.  Plus if you solve all the problems, it could be your lucky day.

    Bigs Gas Station

    Don't Scratch yourself

Big's on South Chestnut Street recently sold a lottery scratch off worth 2.5 million dollars. If it was lucky for Ashley Watkins, it could be lucky for you too. I mean, he is rich now. Just buck the system and buy a few scratch offs. You never know, you could win a huge jackpot!
