There is an East Texas-native in the NFL that could very well be playing for a Super Bowl title this year. Patrick Mahomes from Whitehouse has been turning heads and gaining attention all season, and he's just one win away from playing in the championship game.

But, there's one BIG hurdle left. He and the Kansas City Chiefs have to defeat the New England Patriots. Unfortunately, that means that he has to make it through Tom Brady. He has the skill, but he has to show it before heading into the final game.

My opinion? I think he does it. And once he tops New England, he'll have to defeat either the New Orleans Saints or the Los Angeles Rams. However, I tend to think that that game will be easier than the one against the Patriots. We'll see how it goes when he takes the field in Kansas City, this Sunday at 5:40 PM.

So, what are your thoughts? Does Mahomes go on and win it all? Or, do the Patriots end their winning streak this weekend? Let us know in the comments below.
