Woman Tries Catching a Ride by Lying Down on Busy Lufkin Road

According to a Lufkin Police report, a Livingston woman found a rather unique way of trying to catch a ride Sunday afternoon in Lufkin. 

Police received reports that Denise Colquitt, 39, was lying in the middle of South Timberland Drive in front of Taco Bell and then trying to get in the vehicles that stopped to keep from running over her.

Colquitt was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
