The lineup has been announced for the fifth anniversary of the Bud Light Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival, presented by Tyler Ford, and it’s a big one.

Texas Country superstar Aaron Watson will headline this year’s festival, which is happening on Saturday, May 5, in Downtown Tyler. He’ll be joined by the legendary Pat Green, East Texas native Koe Wetzel, Josh Weathers and Read Southall Band.

Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival will also feature 25 of the most celebrated barbecue joints in Texas, including many familiar faces and new names. Click here to see all of the participating restaurants.

Watson is one of Texas Country’s most successful artists in history. His 2015 album, The Underdog, became the first to ever reach the top spot on the Billboard Country Albums Chart by a male artist on an independent label. His 2017 release of Vaquero reached No. 2 on the chart. Watson’s first single off Vaquero, “Outta Style,” became his first-ever top 40 hit on country radio.

Long considered on Texas Country’s “Mount Rushmore,” Green has continually made his mark on the regional and national scene. With six top 10 albums and smash hits such as “Carry On,” “Wave on Wave” and “Three Days,” among many more, Green is another of the most successful artists in Texas Country history.

Wetzel, a Pittsburg native now based in Stephenville, is undoubtedly the hottest name in the scene right now. He burst onto the scene in 2015 and hasn’t slowed since, selling out almost everywhere he goes. His latest single, “Austin,” has been streamed almost half a million times on Spotify in a matter of weeks.

A native of Fort Worth, Weathers is known for his incredible voice and energetic live shows. He went viral in 2015 after a YouTube video of him covering Whitney Houston’s smash hit, “I Will Always Love You,” made its way around the internet.

Read Southall Band is one of Red Dirt Music’s fastest rising bands, often sharing the stage with Wetzel in front of sold out crowds. The band released its first full-length album, Borrowed Time, in 2017.
