Carrie Underwood has been confirmed as a performer for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. Additional artists scheduled to take the stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles include Keith Urban, the Weeknd, Metallica, and John Legend, according to a short promo clip that aired Saturday evening (Jan. 14) during the NFL Playoffs.

Underwood is nominated for Best Solo Country Performance for "Church Bells." There's been no word on whether she will perform her Grammy-nominated hit at the show on Feb. 12 in Los Angeles but her publicist tells Taste of Country she will indeed perform. It's the second straight year she's performed. In 2016 she sang "Heartbeat" with Sam Hunt.

During an interview with Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton, Underwood shared her excitement for learning about her nomination.

“I was in Australia when I got the news,” she recalls. “I woke up to it. That’s always fun. You know it’s coming out, like you’re aware of when things happen, or I am at least. But then it’s like, it’s going to be at a completely different time. So I woke up, grabbed my phone, and I was like, ‘Oh! Sweet!'”

Country Countdown USA also reports that Urban is indeed performing, although the "Blue Ain't Your Color" singer's representatives would only confirm he would be attending. Of course her fans know Urban tapped Underwood to sing on his Ripcord album. The pair have a duet called "The Fighter."

Country music is well represented at the upcoming awards show as Maren Morris scored four nominations on Dec. 6, including the all-genre Best New Artist category where she is joined by fellow country artist Kelsea Ballerini. While Morris nabbed the most Grammy nods in country music, including the Best Country Album, Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance categories, Urban comes in a close second as he earned three nominations for “Blue Ain’t Your Color” and his Ripcord album. Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Dolly Parton and Chris Young have also been named as country nominees in the 2017 Grammy Awards.

The 59th Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on Feb. 12 beginning at 8PM ET on CBS, while the pre-telecast premiere ceremony will begin at 3:30PM ET.
