He just turned 22, and already this South Texas native is turning heads and setting the standard in Nashville when it comes to singing, songwriting, and guitar playing.

On Sunday, April 19th, the biggest gathering of country music stars, performances, and fans will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington for the 50th anniversary of the Academy of Country Music Awards.  Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton will once again host the show.   As you would expect, tickets have been sold out for months.

Wednesday night, Brantley Gilbert took the stage in front of 66,000+ folks at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.  Gilbert certainly leans towards the edgier side of country, and apparently that didn't sit well with a reviewer for the Houston Chronicle.

Dan Smyers and James Shay Mooney met for the first time just a little over two years.  Almost immediately, they started writing songs together, and then it wasn't long before they formed the duo Dan + Shay.

The line up of great shows continues at Banita Creek Hall this Saturday night.  One week after Cody Johnson set an all-time attendance record at the club, Charlie Robison brings his talents to the stage.

In 2006, Cody Johnson took the stage at Banita Creek Hall for the first time.  Less than 50 folks came out to see this relative unknown from Groveton put on a great show. What a difference nearly 10 years has made.

Spring 2015 will feature a big line up of stars coming to Banita Creek Hall in Nacogdoches.  Tonight, Cody Johnson will be taking the stage.
