East Texas Braces for More Heavy Rainfall

Just a quick look at the Angelina River, Neches River, or Lake Sam Rayburn will immediately tell you that we've had a very wet Winter.  It looks like Spring, at least the first few days of it, will be wet, as well.

Spring arrives on Friday, March 20th, and we'll be getting a jump start on the 'April Showers'.  The best chances of rainfall for the remainder of the week and weekend will take place Wednesday and then again Friday night and Saturday morning.  All totaled, parts of the Pineywoods could see another 2-3 inches of rain.  A thundershower or two may also pop up, but no severe weather is expected.  However, due to the saturated grounds, runoff could lead to some area flooding.
