5 short months ago, November 2011, things were looking very bleak for East Texas lakes.  After suffering through last year's historic drought, many lakes were down at least 10-12 feet. And the outlook was not promising.

Year in and year out, one of the biggest and best rodeos in America is the Angelina Benefit Rodeo. This year's rodeo, present once again by the Lufkin Host Lions Club, will be April 25th-28th at the George H Henderson, Jr Expo Center. It's a great rodeo, and as the name implies, it's also acts as a benefit to help organizations in East Texas.
