It is interesting to hear the story behind a hit song.  Inspiration comes in many forms, but to a 6 year old Ricky Skaggs it came in the form of the great Bill Monroe.

Yesterday, the Zac Brown Band won the Country Clash over Hank Jr by one vote. In our latest Clash, they lose by 3 votes.  Trace Adkins and his new song 'Them Lips on Mine' is our new champion, albeit by a 53% margin of victory.  Today, Adkins defends his title against the latest from Casey James.

One vote. That's all that separated our competitors in yesterday's Country Clash, and congratulations are in order to our new Clash champion, the Zac Brown Band who defeated Hank Jr with 51% of the vote. Today's new challenge will come from Trace Adkins.
