Tornado Confirmed Near Bryan, Storm Cell Heading East

A squall line of severe storms has been intensifying over the past hour as it has moved through the Brazos Valley.  Several tornado warnings have been issued for that area including one that was issued after a law enforcement officer confirmed a tornado near Easterwood Airport, just west of College Station (not pictured above).

As of 2:30 pm, the massive squall line of storms extends from Texarkana to Bryan/College Station.  The line is moving towards the east.  Persons in Deep East Texas should expect these strong to severe storms to move through the area between 3-5 pm.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 11pm for a large portion of East Texas.
