‘CMA Country Christmas’ Was So Popular, It Will Air Again Before Christmas
The first airing of the 2018 CMA Country Christmas television special was so popular, it's getting an encore.
The two-hour primetime annual holiday show will re-air on ABC on Dec. 22 at 8PM ET. Reba McEntire hosts the concert special, which includes a bevy of standout performance, stunning collaborations and, of course, holiday cheer.
"I've always cherished celebrating Christmas alongside family and friends, taking time to reflect on the season," McEntire says. "I'm so excited CMA invited me back to host their show and am looking forward to some fun singing carols with my friends."

McEntire is a featured performer during CMA Country Christmas — she's joined by family gospel group the Isaacs for a hauntingly melodic version of the classic "What Child Is This." Other performers include: Tony Bennett, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Amy Grant, Diana Krall, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Old Dominion, Brad Paisley, Michael W. Smith, Lindsey Stirling, and Brett Young.
CMA Country Christmas is also available via OnDemand via the ABC App and Hulu. Select performances can be found on CMA's VEVO channel, including Eldredge's crooning Frank Sinatra-throwback of "Silver Bells" and Paisley's inspired "Away in a Manger."
This marks McEntire's second year as host for the special; a post she took over from Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, who'd hosted for seven years prior.
