2019 Angelina County AirFest Will be a Two Day Event

September 28th and 29th, the 5th annual Angelina County Airfest is coming to the Angelina County Airport.  Yeah, it's a two day event this year...actually a two day, and one night event.  The yearly event is once again presented by the local Marine Corps League, and all funds raised stay local to help the Toys for Tots program.

Headlining this year's show will be the world-renowned Kyle Franklin and his Dracula bi-plane.  Other pilots, planes, and features include The Immortal Red Baron, Stephen Covington, GhostWriter Airshows, Spanky Galloway, Kate Kyer, Curt and Paul Richmond Pipes and Props Show, ReMax Skydivers and Hot Air Balloon, Karen Brinkley, Paul Fiala, and Jed Dogget in the A26.  Click on the links to see info, pictures and videos from some of these pilots that will be at this year's Airfest.

Gates will open at 9 am for the Saturday performance and at 10 am for the Sunday show.  There will also be a special Saturday night performance by GhostWriter Airshows, featuring over 200 pounds of pyrotechnics aboard the aircraft.  Tickets are on sale now at the airport, Lufkin CVB inside the civic center, Austin Bank, and at the Angelina County Chamber of Commerce.  Buy your tickets early to save money and to avoid the long lines at the show.
